Depends on how you have your TR insured. I have Hagerty and they have three
"towing" options on their plus package based on distance and they use a roll
back. The basic is only $25 a year for 10 miles, goes up from there.

FWIW, concerning AAA, I had considered a membership just for this reason, but
reading the fine print learned that they would only tow me back to the garage
from which the tow truck came. With an LBC I assume this would get me a bunch
of dumb looks and smart comments. I also called AAA and inquired about the
type of tow vehicle, stating that I had a classic auto and would 'require' a
roll-back wrecker. The said they could not promise that, and that what ever
type of wrecker came was all that was available.
These two items lead me back to my original plans. If I should ever 'knock on
wood dash' need a tow, I'll just have to fork out the cash for a roll-back
ride home. Saving the yearly membership fee, I'll consider myself 'Self
Insured'.
No offence intended to AAA, and if you've had a great experience I'd love to
hear it.
