Saw an article that stated that the infinity will be a 2+2, same engine, but the car will be more taylored for the higher end luxury with seating for 4, hence heavier and with softer suspension. Loo

I just came back from the Chicago Auto Show. One of the highlights of the show for me was the new Z. Not so much that it is the most beautiful car in the show. Far from it. But that Nissan is trying

They're really gonna have to pull a rabbit out of the hat to accomplish that. The specs so far say the Honda is 300 lbs. lighter (2800 vs 3100) and has 20% more power (240 vs 200). 0-60 is 5.5 for th

I'll have to agree with Gordon on this one. I don't totally hate the look of the body, and I realize that a few things will be changed before the Z sees production to make its appearance more mainstr

I'd really like to see the new Z have a straight-6. When living in LA, I met a guy who had built a truly amazing Z-motor. I think it was a 280 block with a turbo head, lots of balancing and tweaks,

Agreed here, too. It seems Nissan's commercial engines are a generation or so behind, usually (not the twin 300zx, agreed again). They build solid, working, durable cars, but without that zip that ev

I think we gotta remember that the new Z concept car was built on the 240SX platform ONLY because it was the only readily-available RWD chassis that nissan has laying around. The problem with that is

Nah, the L28 has been beat to death already. The inline-6 has a relatively flexible crank and the long engine affects the weight distribution. The compact V6 4-cam packages better and is more develop

If they chopped about 500 lbs off the weight, they could get by very nicely with about a 250-hp normally-aspirated V6. It might not keep up with the Honda even then, but the torque might make up the
