> Did you leave a tip?
[Fisher, Curt (AFS-Dixon)] I left a $1.00 tip for the $2.65
breakfast (best deal in town) 8^P and politely tried to explain what my
car is. The tip was based more on the fact she always brings me hot Tea,
rather than coffee the minute I come in the door. I truly enjoy the
attention the LBC's get and for the couple people that worried about
rudeness or elitism, that's not the case. I just find it very amusing to
find out how our cars are perceived by those who are not familiar with them.
There is no reason they should be familiar with them, and I know I'm
incredibly ignorant of their hobbies (professional ball sports for
instance). It's fun to hear the guess's they make at what these strange
machines might be. The only real offense I felt about this sort of thing was
in high school when I proudly showed a girl my Austin Healey 3,000 MKII. She
said, "maybe you could sell it and get a Corvette!
