On Tiny Tim, I am also using a light bulb in the middle of the dash to indicate
fan function. I tried it a number of different ways but ended up
putting it in series with the switch, fuse and fans. The indicator comes on
when the fans are turning and glow brightly when the switch is on. I
have on occasion forgotten to turn the fans on after the engine warms up and so
the bright green light is something I look for before taking off.

P.S. I think I also need a light to tell if I have remembered to turn on the
fuel pump. I forgot that once and discovered it doesn't run too well
without it!! :)
