A couple of things about this...

1. I'm actually using a light bulb, not an LED. In fact the light bulb which
used to warn me about my seat belts. I just replaced the SEAT BELTS label
with one which says FAN. (Drivers of the later TR6s will know what I mean, I
think other Triumphs of the time have the same type of warning lamps.). So I
get the glowing regardless of which way the fan is spinnin'... :-)

2. What is a good way of eliminating the glowing of the light, if I wish to
still retain the indicator function? Apparently (Randall mentioned this) the
diode might reduce the voltage to the fan thus reducing its cooling power.
If it is the diode, where do I place it in the wiring schematic? If not,
what are some other suggestions? I wonder if the solution will appear in Dan
Masters' book rev. 2?
