Don,
Reading your description brought to mind a memory of stowing the side
curtains in a 52'MGTD I brought back from England in '73. (Sadly I no
longer have it)  If you think stowing the curtains in a TR3 is a pain,
in a TD, there is no boot.  You must stow the curtains in a small
compartment behind the well in front of the fuel tank.  It has to be
positioned just exactly right or it won't go.
