Bill,
    I don't agree that no TC left the factory two-toned.  I once saw a 
"salesman's options list for the TC, which had MANY options one hears very 
little about, including several varieties of two-tone paint jobs.  Remember, 
in the '40s, the imperative was to EXPORT (or die), and special orders 
complicated things too much to be encouraged.
