Thanks to all, especially: THE CULMINATION OF RESULTS, AND THE
PICTURES OF THE PARTS. THIS MAKES THIS GROUP HELPFUL FOR US ALL.
SO MANY TIMES WE ASK QUESTIONS, SOME GET ANSWERS, AND THE REST OF US
GET A PARTIAL FEEDBACK OR NEVER FIND WHAT THE ANSWER WAS. I KNOW IT
WAS EXTRA EFFORT AND I DON'T DO THE WINDUP EFFORT TO A QUESTION I'VE
ASKED, SO I'M GUILTY TOO.
THANKS AGAIN,
BOB

OK folks. From all of the input I've received, here are the final
pictures
and commentary (including the remade clamp after Peter Green's helpful
picture) and Hiro's comment that the TA clamp was the same as the TB
and TC.
Peter Ross pointed out that the markings on the adjuster might give a
clue,
but it would appear that instead of the markings (A - R) being
reversed that
the whole adjuster was flopped to the opposite side so as to
accommodate the
opposite rotation of the rotor. Outside of the reversed (raised)
letters,
the adjustment range and precision are identical.
Thanks to all who had input on this subject. However, I'm still very
interested to find out the source of the clamp found on my PB and
marked in
the picture as "?". I believe it might have been from a VA, SA, or WA,
but I
have written to a VA expert to get input.
The final (?) page is on the Airline Coupe Registry website at:

Lew

I also do not think the original clamps were fixed with countersunk
bolts.
None of the clamps I have have a countersunk hole, I think they were
fixed
with ordinary hex headed bolts.
Right you are Peter.....my mistake. My N type is now fitted with a hex
headed bolt.
