OK folks. From all of the input I've received, here are the final pictures
and commentary (including the remade clamp after Peter Green's helpful
picture) and Hiro's comment that the TA clamp was the same as the TB and TC.

Peter Ross pointed out that the markings on the adjuster might give a clue,
but it would appear that instead of the markings (A - R) being reversed that
the whole adjuster was flopped to the opposite side so as to accommodate the
opposite rotation of the rotor. Outside of the reversed (raised) letters,
the adjustment range and precision are identical.

Thanks to all who had input on this subject. However, I'm still very
interested to find out the source of the clamp found on my PB and marked in
the picture as "?". I believe it might have been from a VA, SA, or WA, but I
have written to a VA expert to get input.

Right you are Peter.....my mistake.  My N type is now fitted with a hex 
headed bolt.
