Since I don't have a roll bar I would rather be thrown out of the car in a
roll over or in a vicious accident. The solid steering column would be as
lethal as not wearing a seat belt.
In all my other cars I always wear my belts but not in the Roadster. I was
pulled over by a cop for not wearing a belt and then I explained and showed
him what I meant and to my surprise he agreed and let me go.
