YES! If the rotor has been turned down, AND the pads are less than
full thickness, the caliper piston will bottom out on the caliper
FRAME. NO FRONT BRAKES!

I've told the story about a fellow looking for custom 4 wheel
disc brakes for his roadster. When I asked why? Reply was "Roadster
brakes are worthless!!!".  Took him for a quick ride, made sure
he had his seat belt tight... and HIT THE BRAKES HARD (always
check the rear view mirror first). He was impressed, but shocked,
to learn I had original brakes. Yep, dispite new pads his rotors
were too thin, and the caliper didn't supply pressure against
the pad to rotor.

Yep, I also love Stan's little brace. Important thing about it
is just to prevent the brake master cylinder from ripping away
from the firewall!

P.S. Someone asked about the timing chain parts for the U20.
Ahem, I think the price they gave was out of date. I put up
