I dug a little deeper in the data. SFR, Sacramento, and AAS have all had
significant reductions in entries in classes requiring dedicated tires to be
competitive. AAS and Sacramento have completely offset their reduction in
dedictated tire classes with significant increases in their street tire class
participation. Street Tire participation in SFR decreased significantly this
year with the overall drop in attendance being somewhat offset by scheduling
more events in Oakland.
Very cool info, Rich! I ran every regular season event in STS, and I
noticed a drop in entries throughout the year. The first 4 events averaged 21
entrants, the last 4 averaged 11!
Oakland is the key site for us. There are fewer objections to that site
than to any other we have. Do we use every available date that we can
there???
Anyone? Bueller?
