No, he's saying that you can't run the car in SS vs. BS (or ESP) as it was
never classed there (assuming BS is the proper stock class location for an
SS Camaro).

For most cars, you get to pick either its stock class or its SP class.
Prepared and Mod can get a little more interesting... :-)

All this is per national rules.  If you have local rules that allow you to
"self bump" or something, those would override of course.
