ho-ho-ho don't i know! last week i had my pay-pal password hacked and pay
pal suspended my ability to acess my account! this prompted my calling
them via phone to find out what happened! the end result was i needed to
call my bank, cancel my mac card and order a new one, and luckily no funds
were lost! but my bank told me that last week i was around the 10th caller
with a similar problem, and one person lost near 5000.00 before the
situation was discovered! all this had me emailing 3 difrent ebay auction
sellers to explain my situation to preserve my ebay rating! luckily they
were all quite reasonable, the most difficult was a fellow in luxembourg
due to his preferring only pay-pal as payment. after some frantic
emailing he is willing to wait for my account to be reinstated and turn out
he's a retired european rallyist! ;)
so beware of those previously mentioned fake emails and if you experience
difficulties with ebay or pay-pal find the phone number and call them right
away as well as contacting your provider of the form of payment to be
certain your funds are intact too!

have a safe and happy holiday season!
