The GSM Delta, from South Africa, I think, came with an Alfa engine.
production sports car, not sports racer, but still interesting. Anyway, the
Bobsy's that I've seen advertised struck me as kind of reasonably priced,
compared to the unrealistically high value that I hope my Merlyn MK6A
aspires too :)

Why not get the sports racer of your choice, and put an Alfa engine in it?
Create some history, as opposed to settling for merely re-creating it!

Seriously, Derek Harling (who monitors this list) has an interesting early
70's SR (the fiberglass tub one, which name I forget), I think engineless,
that could be ideal with a 1600cc Alfa engine. He was going to put a 2
liter Cosworth BD in it, but has a few other projects last I talked to him...

Cheers, Brian
