I have installed a Pioneer unit in my 6.  I just pushed a single to  double 
spade connector on to the back of my "always on" connection on the back  of my 
ignition and connected there.  It is the neatest connection point  without 
this yellow wire running everywhere.  They say not to run through  the bulkhead 
because most home installers would drill a hole and run the wire  without a 
grommet and the wire would eventually wear.
