I have a cover from 'Car Cover Division' made of Technalon . a product make
by Kimberly-Clark. Their recommendations for cleaning:

1. Can be washed in a larger commercial laundramat washer without agitatior.
Use Fantastic All Purpose Cleaner, 2 cups......on normal or permanent press,
cool or warm water NOT HOT......Run cover through 2 rinse
cycles.......(important that all the cleaner be removed in order to preserve
the cover's water
resistance.) Air dry cover........do not dry in dryer and do not dry- clean.

2. Put cover on vehicle inside-out...hose off......leave on vehicle to
dry.......(Seems you spray with some diluted Fantastic All Purpose before
hosing
off!)

3. To clean in a few spots....lightly brush with a soft rag.......for
presistent soils: Wet the spot with water, wash with liquid Fantastic All
Purpose
Cleaner, working well into the area using a sponge........rinse thoroughly to
remove all cleaner residue......air dry completely.........if fabric leakage
occurs at that spot......spray with Scotch Guard, et al.
