Hi Bob
Try fabric Conditioner, we have a shower curtain that says detergent will
have the waterproof coating, only use conditioner!
Usual caveats apply, try an inconspicuous area in case the colour runs, oh
not that one the other one!  ;-)
You know what I mean!
