Yes, except that it does eat paint like DOT 3&4.

I believe you are refering to DOT 5.1 brake fluid. From what I have
heard, it has all the benefits of silicone-based fluids without the
compatibility problem. One can use it in a glycol system without doing
such a thorough tear-down and cleaning, although a good flush is still
required.
