Hi List!
I'm now installing my plastic Tranny Cover (TC) in my TR4/A. I have
the cover in the cock pit with the 4 bolts mounted in the rear. I
installed the top shifter boot inside the the 2nd [outer] shifter boot &
install that on the TC. Looks nice, but once I move the shift lever
stick, the [Outer] boot pops out of the TC. :-(
I'm wondering if I have to elongate the hole for this boot [to have
a little more 'breathing room] for the rubber Not to bind up in the
front, which 'pulls' on the rear, thus causes it to pop out? :-( TIA to
all.
