a side project ...just completed testing.
I've found a simple way to modify a Spit
4 cyl elec tach to work for a 6cyl GT6.
A simple, single component addition to the elec
ckt of the Spit 4 cyl tach, will let you adjust it
to cal. it for a 6 cyls accurately. Initial testing
shows it to be very linear across the entire
rpm range. Yeeaha... no more cable driven
tach for me! Anyone needing a late model
GT6 tach (matches the same gauge styles)
let me know. If you're not comfortable
opening up a tach and modifying the elecs
let me know. Maybe we can work something
out and I can modify it for you. :-)
