Dwyer instruments has a model
7100
that will go from 60 to 10,000psi.
http://www.dwyer-inst.com/htdocs/pressure/7000.html
check it out.
I guess you could screw a fitting on the fill valve

What sort of pressure gauge reads h.p. oil pressure? Assuming a 2 sq. in.
piston area, to lift 600 lbs would require 300 psi, obviously.

Doug, check with an Hydraulics parts supplier in your area. There are
plenty of gauges that are calibrated for the range of 0-2,000 PSI.
