What sort of pressure gauge reads h.p. oil pressure?  Assuming a 2 sq. in.
piston area, to lift 600 lbs would require 300 psi, obviously.

Doug, check with an Hydraulics parts supplier in your area.  There are
plenty of gauges that are calibrated for the range of 0-2,000 PSI.
