Hi Brian,

Try the competition pushrods from Moss. They are made by Iskenderian and are at
least1/8" shorter than stock. They are also sealed at the ends and won't
collect oil like the spot welded ones. If  the pushrods have pressed or
soldered in ends, chuck the rod in a lathe and cut out behind the end with a
parting tool. Cut just deep enough to go thru the tubing wall and take out 1/8"
or so of length. Press in the end down to the cut shoulder. If the end is
soldered, heat it with a torch when pressing.
