The price sounds good, but how do the splines look on these wheels? I've
also heard of chroming weakening the metal (and that, presumably, was from
new, not used, wheels). Do you intend on disassembling the wheels before
chroming? Lots of issues here. Anybody else?

I'm considering buying used painted wire wheels for my TR3, and
wonder if
anyone has had that type of wheel chromed? Seems like a good idea,
but
don't know if it would even work or may even be cost prohibitive,
any
suggestions? The price is certainly right, $100 for six of em!
        Thanks,
        Richard Triplett
