What you are looking for is the correct commission number. Most of the cars
had the commission number on a tag fastened to the driver's side of the
windscreen frame. If that is missing, it may be possible to get the
commission number if you know the body number. (The body number should be
on a tag rivetted to the bulkhead near the battery.) Contact BMIHT and see
if they can search the records that way.
