I consider the XJ6 the ultimate sedan. One definitely belongs in a museum
of design. A perfect blend of styling and function. That's why so many
auto makers copy them. Jags, and jag ripoffs have become common. That's
probably why nobody waves. Spits are uncommon now, and their styling is
very sexy. That's why they get the waves. I've had people pull up to me in
my spit, roll down their window and say, "Wow, great car, what is it?"
Nobody gave me a second glance in my XJ6, with the windows down and no
cellular phone. Spitfires are exciting to look at. They turn heads. A
friend of mine had an old XKE that I drove for a couple of months while he
was out of the country and only one guy commented on the car. He asked me
if I knew a good mechanic!
