way. I took the gap out of the interconnect lever and POWER appeared.
With the play out of the interconnect lever the butterflies now open 1/2 to
maybe 2/3's of the way. My question is how do I adjust the linkage to
open the butterflies the full 90 degrees? Are they supposed to open that
far? (seems logical to me!) Why does Bentley call for the 3/32's gap in
the first place?<,
Are the bushings in the throttle cross shaft (where it exits the
cockpit on each side) in place and not sloppy? Have you checked
the first part of the linkage that is fit on the splines via a
bolt? If you lossen this bolt and release the linkage, you can
(with help inside the car) raise the pedal at the idle condition
to give a longer stroke until the pedal bottoms out. I assume
also the carpet etc is not out of position and limiting total
travel.
