At this moment I am investigating on swapping my Vitesse' 2L engine for a 2,5
L. Due tot the increase in stroke you have to change the sump. You can't put on
the 2,5 (in my case saloon) one, because it fouls the steering rack and a
crossmember. The advise I've got is to give my existing 2L sump a few blows
with a hammer .....
Your engine could be a TR6 engine with a different sump (if that's the case I
would like to know the origin of the sump or it could be a stroked 2L engine
with a new sump.
If you give me hte engine number I'll find out and does the sump looks
battered?

kind to hear from you,

Huib.
