What literature? Do you have any references?
Are you sure you are not confusing O2 sensors with catalytic converters
- which definitely *are* sensitive to lead?
I know that the O2 sensor is very sensitive to silicone - it seems they
may be affected by very liberal use of silicone gasket sealer.
