I have had several private replies to my request for help finding a front
carb body for my 69-6. (Thank you!) Two questions appear for which I could
use some general help from the list.
It appears that the carb body is pretty unchanged from year to year. Is this
really the case? Need I be very concerned about what year it comes from?
and, what is a fair price for just the body? I am assuming that "just the
body" includes that which is pressed in, i.e. float hinge, jet and throttle
shaft.
Anything else I should worry about?
