tie rod ends

Friendly Scions,

I finally opened a box of tie rod ends I bought ever so long ago and 
was surprised to find no grease fittings, or plugs where the fittings 
should go.  Did I unwittingly purchase cheap ones?  The company name
is Moprod, and has a Made in Britain tag.

Should I drill and tap holes for grease fittings, or just figure
the tie rod ends will outlast the rest of the car anyway :-)
