Cheers to everybody for the help. I fitted the diff. That I got for #75 and it
works a treat but there is as usual an however! My left rear wheel now seems to
be spinning in a rather buckled like way. I suspect that this is what may have
damaged my original diff. as it must have gone undetected, or it could have
been damaged when the diff got damaged. Does anybody know what could be the
problem?

One more thing is can anybody suggest a suitable replacement for the original
wiper motor? Which is very poor and requires for too much assistance for my
liking!

Thank you again,
Jarrod

The number off the nose of the old diff will tell the ratio. I believe
that after 1976 all ratios were 3.63 but again, the number off the old diff
would confirm -
