You mean change anything with respect to idle speed or temperature?
Either way, I haven't noticed any funny business going on when I switch
on the lights, but then again I've been too busy concentrating on the
temperature gauge!
I'd be interested to know a bit more about why you think it could be
voltage regulation - I know nada about the inner workings of the
alternator.
