I remember this being debated a while back. I have some used springs that
are supposed to be MK I, II or III and a set of used 1500 springs I can
experiment with. The early ones are only 1/2" shorter than the 1500 ones.
Most replies favored the stiffer, lower springs, so I think I'll get the
Moss springs. If I don't like them I can try the (claimed to be) early ones
I have or cut the 1500 ones.
