MTL is what we used...1 quart is what we put in it. I
dont have the manual in front of me to read what
capacity is. no, shouldnt fill completely. If I
remember, its about half full. The gears throw all the
needed oil around (slinging). Dont know if will help
if syncs are gone,, but it sure quiets the noise a
little and smoother shifting.
