Well, I don't know if it's approved, but I've just got a MAPP cylinder on my
propane torch head. Works fine for me, no black smoke or anything else that
would indicate a problem.

I will look into MAPP, which I wanted to pick up anyway. Can you use a MAPP
cylinder on any propane nozzle. or is there a special one for MAPP? I know
you can use propane with a MAPP torch.
