My Cytech lift  is 37" between ramps.  If I get my Healey
perfectly centered on the ramps, which I rarely do, I have
3" between the inside of the tire and the edge of the ramp.
I find that this is a pretty good margin for error.  

One extra note:  If you have a care with very low clearance,
consider getting the longer angled ramps.  I find that I have to 
put a 2x8 under the driver's side ramp plus another 2x8 on the
main ramp in order to get my muffler to clear.
