I'm sure their main concern is whether you will have enough thread left
after you add the spacer.  I'll be adding a spacer to my front hubs to fit
Brembo brakes under the rims.  I'll probably end up finding longer studs
just to be safe.   There are 1" wide spacers for Porsche's and they have no
problems.  Why don't you try the Tirerack.  They have always been helpful to
me, and they usually have great prices.  www.tirerack.com
