Am I just asking for trouble, by using a 1/4" wheel spacer to reduce the
positive offset to MGB specs? The company I'm trying to deal with
(www.tires.com), are more or less useless, and will offer no help if the
application isn't listed in their book. They claim I should only use like 2
or 3 mm spacers, and that putting a 1/4" spacer isn't acceptable.
Personally, I don't think the kid had any idea what he was talking about.
But the price is right, so I may just order and take the risk. (For those who
couldn't remember where this thread started, I was inquiring about 14x6, with
a 35mm offset, and using a 1/4" spacer).
