Gentlemen,
I'm in the layout phase of skinning the wooden tub of my PA. My question
comes on the treatment of the lower edges.
While it's possible to completely "wrap" the lower edges, aren't I building a
perfect water trap to hold water and accelerate wood rot? Seems like the
metal trim should fold under the wood ... but not wrap back up the inside of
the
frame.
If this is correct, then seal with a silicone sealer perhaps?
