I've often read and heard that the PA was only a P-Type until the PBS came
along.
One of the original sales catalogues that the factory issued only calls it
"P-Type"
No mention of PA.
However, on my copy of the original "Sales Department-Service Department"
sales sheet 29/3/34 it reads PA 0512. Then through the year of '34 there are
correspondences as early as 8th May, also, referring to it as PA.
Am I right in saying that PA chassis are stamped PA and that PB chassis are
stamped PB

Indeed. At least 25 of them. It's written in the Bible that they could not
sell them once they had introduced the PB.
