I'll second that. Plus you never know what shape the threads are in  the 
block, if they are stretch or not. With studs you and Lock-Tite them in  place 
and 
be sure to use washers under the nuts, and some oil on the studs as  you 
toque them down.That will give you a better reading.
 
 
Youth would  be an ideal state if it came a little later in life.
