A Silvia has some different light switch functions compared to other
cars outside Japan. On the first position I can switch between park
and low beam. In the second position on the light switch it's the
usual high-low on the turn signal switch. In Japan they switch from
low beam to park in the city when they wait at a red light.
On the Z-cars we used Hella or Bosch 7" with the additional 4 watt
park light as the amber park lights were not legal here. There were
no problems with the reverse wiring but we had to add relays to
get enough current to the headlights.
