It's a waxy substance (it uses paint thinner or other similar product as a
thinner) that does not chip and seals out moisture. It also has additives that
stops any rust that is there and actually will remove some. It dries to a self
sealing film.

I've been using it for 20+ years on a variety of cars and it does work. I
spray the inner parts of the fenders, doors, door posts, rockers and the
underside of the car. It can be brushed on or sprayed on.

It's from England and they do know about rust.

Not cheap but a very good product to use.
