Hello All,

Well, this is the first opportunity I have had to write to the list about
Shasta as I had to go to Boston on business first. The reason I didn't hang
out for the picture was that I had to drive from Mt. Shasta to my home that
same day and catch my plane out to Boston the next morning. 11.5 hours of
driving. Ugh.

I felt a little alone as the only SoCalROC member present with a car. I did
get to see all the cars including Michael Carion's car tricked out for
racing and Mike Young's killer 67.5 2000. It simply is the nicest stock 67.5
2000 I have ever seen. Great car Mike.

Speaking of 67.5 2000s, I will never again think that my car is really that
rare. There were SIX of them there. Mine, Michael Carion, The Almazans, Mike
Young, and two cars I had only seen on Datsun.org. One was Greg Burrow's car
with the cool rear flares, and the other was Paul Strassmaier's car which
had its debut after finishing a TOTAL restoration. Nice car Paul.

Four really pretty 1500s were there. The off white one was just killer.

For my own self, I felt that if there was a "worst of show", I would have
won. My no paint job , no interior, no customization car looked poor out
there. Think I will not show it again until I get it painted.

I had fun seeing all the cars.
