The engine that Paul was running the last couple of years had been dynoed by 
Arne Loyning at 169 hp.
I heard a rumor last weekend that Paul is having a new, more radical engine 
built by Rebello that
should put out over 200 hp.

Paul runs in SOVREN, not VARA, but the rules are probably about the same. 
Roadsters in the 1960's
weren't allowed to flare the fenders. Didn't seem to slow the BRE team down 
much. That MGB driver
better hang onto his shorts if a well-prepared 2000 starts running in his class!
