<The key is to keep the weight off the tongue> Be careful here, there had better be more weight to the tongue than to the rear of the trailer, or you may end up losing your trailer. There must be a certain amount of weight on the tongue to keep it down onto the hitch ball, so when you hit a dip that trailer weight does not rip the hitch from the ball. Also remember to put grease on the ball when you tow the trailer. |
