As well, because you probably have more weight over the front axle line
than you did with the 1600 engine, you might consider a set of
competition front springs, to help bring back the original balance
between the front and rear end's stiffness - right now the stock springs
(I assume they are??) are working 'harder' to hold up the front end, and
so have less capacity to resist letting the car 'wallow' in a turn, or
while braking.
