I believe the way Cole Porter wrote it was:
"O give me land, lots of land under starry skies above,"
"Don't fence me in."
and to paraphrase the next line;
Let me *drive* through the wide open spaces that I love,
Grease is no sin.
Which is why Andy Mace and I both looked for and bought property with
lots of space *and* large barns (for storing large quantities of parts)
not to mention little in the way of zoning.
